Frequently asked questions
What is Nocti Pool?
Nocti Pool is a subscription DJ pool: a catalogue of edits, remixes and bootlegs ready to mix. Every track is analysed (BPM, Camelot key, energy, quality) and hand-checked before it is published.
How much does it cost?
Three plans, cancel anytime: Standard at €9.99/month (200 downloads, MP3 320), Pro at €19.99/month (500 downloads, MP3 and WAV), Unlimited at €59.99/month (unlimited downloads, all formats, full catalogue).
Which file formats are available?
320 kbps MP3 on every plan; WAV and other available formats from the Pro plan up. Every file is delivered tagged, with artwork.
Does it work with my DJ software?
Yes, with all of them: Rekordbox, Serato, Engine DJ, Traktor, VirtualDJ, djay and the rest. Files are standard 320 kbps MP3 and WAV, delivered tagged — title, artist, genre, year, BPM, key and artwork are written into the file. Your software reads them on import, with nothing to re-analyse.
Where do the tracks come from?
Two sources. Labels and producers send us their music directly, to get it into DJs' hands; the rest comes from daily monitoring of the charts and new releases. Either way, every track is listened to and approved by hand before it is published.
What does the analysis add?
BPM and Camelot key let you filter compatible tracks for harmonic mixing. The energy rating (1 to 5) helps build a set, and the quality score flags poorly mastered files.
Can I listen before subscribing?
Yes: a 2 min 15 preview of every track is available without an account. Full playback and downloads require a subscription.
Is the catalogue curated by hand?
Yes. Nothing is published automatically: each track is listened to and approved one by one, which filters out duplicates, promo snippets and poor-quality files.
Is the music licensed?
Making the works available on Nocti Pool is covered by an ICE Direct licence issued by ICE Services — the joint venture of PRS for Music, GEMA and STIM. It covers the ICE Core repertoire on a multi-territory basis, for streaming as well as downloads. Playing a track in public afterwards (club, bar, radio, livestream) falls, as everywhere, under the licences held by the venue or the platform.
